ippolito fleitz group is a Stuttgart based multidisciplinary design studio operating in the global marketplace. Three core disciplines are being worked on parallel in the studio: architecture, design and communication are inspiring and complement one another with competent experience and passion for our clients tasks. Our work comprises urban design projects, architecture, interiors, exhibition design, landscape architecture, design of furniture and lamps, branding strategies, corporate identities, graphic as well as multimedia design. Our work is based upon the belief that solutions to the design challenges of today can be achieved better in interdisciplinary teams. Teamwork and dialogue are central to the design process at ippolito fleitz group. A collaborative working method fosters originality--the hallmark of design. A creative setting, characterized by insight, intuition, and a sense of humour, stimulates individual designers to excel. Creativity is at the heart of our studio, influencing all of its business processes. The basis and starting point of our work is always the development of a strong conceptual idea which allows us to work simultaneously in different disciplines. In order to develop that specific idea it is necessary to know how to listen. Every project gets its first shapes and directions from our endeavour to understand the thoughts and feelings, the obvious and hidden needs of our client and his customers. It is important to us to understand the overall basics and the strategic details of the client\s business. We then collect benchmark data to form design parameters for the project. We thoroughly analyse this data to reduce it to a core - the idea - that can be communicated and ultimately consumed. We understand design as a search and a process. Inspiration is found in a variety of fields, such as art, nature, technology and last but not least in the every day life, adding a distinctive character to each concept. A strategy of decontextualisation and deciphering, of taking apart and rearranging runs through many of our projects. Looking at things, looking behind them, and the dissenting of ordinary things are major influences in a design process, which aims to develop a relevant, unexpected solution, that makes a difference. Currently, ippolito fleitz group presents itself as a creative unit of 9 designers, covering all fields of design, from strategy to architecture, interiors, products, graphics and landscape architecture, each contributing specific skills to the alternating, project-oriented team formations.
